Real Wedding - A RELAXED SEASIDE WEDDING IN KENT – KAREN AND TONY

When Karen and Tony first got in touch with me about their wedding, I was so excited – they were planning a romantic traditional wedding with an intimate ceremony and a lovely meal with friends and family for the reception. Karen and Tony are the most fun people and we couldn’t wait to be apart of their wedding.

The wedding

The wedding took place at Botany Bay Hotel, a lovely seaside venue with views over Botany Bay, it was a romantic ceremony. They had some beautiful readings, which everyone enjoyed. After the ceremony the couple danced their way back down the aisle to Stevie Wonder's Signed, Sealed, Delivered (I'm Yours)!What a way to end there ceremony!

The wedding reception took place in the function suite at Botany Bay, exhibiting the best views of the Bay, even though it was raining, everyone was in good spirits.The suite was beautiful, and was decorated with stunning blossom trees, hydrangeas, and navy sash bows.The team at Thanetian Weddings did an amazing job.

During the reception Karen and Tony had our DJ play background music - due to current covid-19 restrictions, we're only allowed to play inside at an ambient level.Although there wasn't any dancing, everyone was in great spirits, and tapped their toes, waved their arms and pretended to sing all whilst staying seated.A great night was had by all.
