As a Photographer we talk about golden hour like there isn’t any other time of the day (for us; there isn’t!). Its the best time of day for your portraits. We aim to be taking photos between one and two hours before the sun sets to take advantage of the beautiful golden light.

  2. Lean to attach a Boutonniere
Like typing a tie, putting on a boutonniere is a skill that is often overlooked in the wedding planning process. If you plan on wearing one, learn how to pin it properly before the day so that they are nice and secure, and avoid disasters - youtube it; and practice! (Also make sure you a tie a tie!)

  3. Take a moment to just chill.
Ok so no one ever said that weddings are easy - especially if you are on your fourth postponement, venue went bust OMG i hate covid-19 wedding planning experience. It is your day, and it is about you and your beaut new spouse. Consider scheduling ten minutes away from everything, to sneak away with your spouse and chill out. You’ll be able to take some quiet time before hitting the dance floor!

  4. Observe what’s going on
At your reception; take a few moments to just be present, and observe your family and friends. This tip is way more important now than ever. It is necessary that you take these small moments, so that you can look back on them and treasure them forever - you never know they might just be your favourite of the day.
