When Mr and Mrs Clarke first got in touch with me about their May The Forth wedding in Margate, I was so thrilled – they were planning a really fun and laid back wedding with a church ceremony, a Storm Trooper and even an appearance from Darth Vader. Mr and Mrs Clarke are the loveliest people and we couldn’t wait to be involved in their wedding!

Getting hitched

The wedding took place at Salmestone Grange Chapel, and was a traditional church ceremony. They had some beautiful readings, which was just magical. After the ceremony they had a dramatic first kiss, and then they were showered with confetti.

The party

The wedding reception took place Smiths Court Hotel, Margate, which they’d decorated in a beautiful navy Star Wars Theme. It was so unique.

It was a four seasons in one day, which wasn’t in the plan but the couple didn’t mind. While the guests enjoyed GnTs, the couple mingled and laughed with their friends.

During the reception they had one of our photo booths, fully equipped with Star Wars props, which everyone loved. We provided one of our experienced wedding DJs - Steven who kept everyone entertained. For the First Dance Mr & Mrs Clarke opted for Motley Crue's Without You, and it was absolutely magical. After the first dance they cut the wedding cake, then everyone hit the dance floor and the party got started. They also had an impromptu visit from Darth Vader, an Imperial Guard and Boba Fett - who threw some moves on the dance floor. The visit was a huge hit.

What The Couple said

Exclusive sounds omg what a party. They are brilliant in what they do they are a MUST to book at any of your events. We had the photo booth as well as the DJ. They did all music as we had all ages there. All I can say is when’s the next party at and are they free. Will not have anyone else 🍾🎊🎊🎊🍾🍾
