SUNNY RELAXED TWILIGHT WEDDING AT ST AUGUSTINES IN WESTGATE ON SEA, KENT – STEUART & CARRIE

Exclusive Sounds were fantastic from start to finish. Made us feel comfortable and relaxed. Top class.

Steuart and Carrie got married at the beautiful St Augustines, Westgate On Sea, Kent, in summer. It was a super fun summery twilight wedding, with a really cool personalised cake.

The excitement before the wedding

Carrie got ready in the Bridal Suite at St Augustines. She wore a gorgeous Wed2Be Dress, and looked really stunning. She travelled to the ceremony on foot.

Getting hitched

The ceremony took place in a stunning chapel at St Augustines. The ceremony area was filled with candles, which was so perfect, because it made it so cosy. The ceremony began with a beautiful reading, and finished with a big cheer from everyone. It was a romantic ceremony, full of lots of laughter and so much love.

After the ceremony, the couple mingled with their guests, which was the perfect time for me to get candid photos. Then we did some family photos, which was really chilled out. I got some really special guest photos outdoors. The weather was all sunshine and blue skies, which I loved.

The reception

Steuart and Carrie chose to have their wedding at St Augustines because it’s near their home, and the food is incredible. St Augustines is an old venue, and it’s got a really spectacular feel to it, especially in the evenings when the party gets going.

For the reception, the couple had arranged Steven - our own DJ and our photobooth for their guests, and everyone had a blast – even with the crazy props in the photo booth. Everyone was then called in for food, which was a hog roast. It was so yummy. They had just one speech during the meal, which was really fun.

The party

After the cake cutting, they had their first dance, and the evening was packed from the moment the first dance finished until the very last song. Steven - Our DJ played all the best songs to get everyone dancing.  Even getting everyone on the floor for oops upside your head.

The evening ended with a ‘last dance’, which was such a wonderful idea.  The whole wedding was so chilled, from the epic cake to the dance floor party. One of the best parts of the wedding was the dancing, because everyone got involved. The wedding cake was also a talking point of the wedding – as it was Bertha - the Bride & Groom's Campervan.

I loved this St Augustines wedding so much. If you’re getting married and looking for a DJ, Photo Booth or wedding photographer, get in touch. Here are the photos!
