Wedding Fair | Kent County Cricket Ground

Back on the 8th of April, we took a small team of people to showcase our products and services at the Kent County Cricket Ground's Wedding Fair.  The team and I had a great day meeting various Brides & Grooms along with their entourages.

Wedding Fairs are a great way to get ideas for your wedding; meet suppliers, and try a bit of cake - I mean who doesn't love cake?
If you've not been to a wedding fair before, they can be a bit overwhelming - well a lot overwhelming.  There's usually 60+ suppliers on hand to talk to, ranging from Photographers, Mobile Bars, Venues, DJs & Photo booths; through to celebrants and stationers.

We thought we'd compile our top 5 Wedding Fair tips for you.

1. Mix it up
All the best fairs have tonnes of great features, whether it’s live demonstrations, performances or free classes. Be sure to see what’s happening before you arrive.  Catch a live demonstration or the Catwalk show to start, then head down to the suppliers and go from there!

2. Take your time
At some of the wedding fairs we've been too there are some 60 or more suppliers.  So there can be plenty to see at some wedding fairs. This is why it’s important to take the time to enjoy the day and take it all in. Exhibitors at any fair are experts in their respective fields and are dedicated to making your day the absolute best it can be, so be sure to speak to them about your wedding, ask as many questions as you need and let them know all about your special day.

3. Grab a Wedding Fair Guide
You’ve found the perfect venue – You can’t picture your day being anywhere else, but, you’ve forgotten the name and you've spent the last hour on google with no luck. We try to make it as easy as possible to find the people you’ve met at The Wedding Fairs. So grab the guide so you can have a look at whose exhibiting!

4. Grab a bargain
It’s the worlds worst kept secret that weddings can be pretty expensive, so that’s why many exhibitors offer special prices, unique offers, and some free samples!

5. Relax…
Once you’ve browsed through the show and feel you’ve made the most of your day, be sure to finish off somewhere comfortable with a glass of bubbly or a nice cup to sit down and reflect on everything you’ve found. Be sure you’ve visited all of the exhibitors and head back to anyone you’d like to speak to again before leaving.

Our next fair is St Augustines, on 13th May 2018, so pop down and say hi !
